The District Predela region is located in the south east part of Bulgaria. To the south boundaries of the area you find the Pirin Mountains in
which one of the most famous ski resorts in Bulgaria, named Bansko ski
resort is located. To the north of the area we find the Rila mountains.
To date, a golf course of about 900,000 sq/m is being built. The golf course is schedule for opening on April 2006. position and falling government debt. It also upgraded Bulgaria's local
currency rating to 'BBB+' from 'BBB' and said the outlook was stable.
Fitch noted in a statement that Bulgaria was on track to post a second
consecutive year of fiscal surplus, amounting to over 1% of GDP. At
the same time, government debt should fall to 30% of GDP by the end
of 2005, it said, down from 39% at the end of last year, it said. Fitch
warned however that the country's current account deficit remained a
weak spot that highlighted the need to bolster domestic savings and
cool down the economy."
